Chris Hill

Chris has been a practicing lawyer for over 25 years and a financial adviser for over 20 years.  He is an accredited specialist by the Law Institute of Victoria, a Certified Financial Adviser and an Accredited Self Managed Super Fund Specialist Advisor by SPAA, the pinnacle body in Australia for Self managed Super Fund professionals. Chris is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, The Self Managed Super Fund Professionals Association of Australia, the Financial Planning Association of Australia and a former member of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM). Chris is also in the process of obtaining office as a Foreign Legal Consultant with the Californian State Bar, USA.

Chris practices exclusively in the areas of Estate planning, Self Managed Super Fund structuring and advice, Asset structuring and Business succession planning.   His experience as both a lawyer and Financial adviser provides unique insight and the ability to adopt a strategic approach in delivering legal solutions to his clients.

Chris holds regular speaking engagements, educational workshops and guest radio spots, presenting on a wide range of both legal and financial topics, both in Australia and the United States.

Chris is the Managing Director of “Hill Legal” and “Life Solutions, Financial advisers” which both focus on providing holistic tailored legal and financial solutions to clients at different stages of their lives. He is also the managing director of Hollenstein Hill Australia Consulting, a business that is involved in providing consulting services to Australians working in the United States.

Chris holds other non professional associations and sits on the board of various Charitable and philanthropic organisations.

He is an avid adventurer and has climbed Mountain peaks in Nepal and New Zealand and enjoys offshore racing, sailing and bike riding.

Robert Daniels
Lawyer

Robert has practiced as a lawyer in Mornington since 1973, after graduating from the University of Melbourne in 1972. During his time in practice, Robert has acted for a wide variety of clients in many areas of the law, although his specialty is property law. Robert has extensive experience and the ability to relate to clients of all backgrounds. Over the years Robert has been a member of various community organizations, lending his legal expertise on a voluntary basis.

Robert enjoys reading, movies, travelling, photography and spoiling his two grandchildren.

Chris Daniels

Lawyer

Chris Daniels practices in the areas of Family Law, Wills and Estates, Commercial Law and Litigation.

Chris graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts in 2005. During his time at University, Chris was involved with the Western Suburbs Community Legal Service, conducting interviews, providing advice and conducting follow up work in a variety of areas. Chris was admitted to practice in 2006 and, since then, Chris has worked in a wide range of legal areas, including Family Law, Commercial Law, Wills and Estates, Property Law and Litigation.

Chris enjoys music, sport, reading, movies and spending time with his family and friends.
 

Cheryl Hill
Paralegal 

Cheryl started work in a legal firm at Mount Eliza as a receptionist after completing workexperience at the tender age of 16 and while still at school.  She has progressed to become a Law Clerk as a natural progression for her many years of experience and application. 

Cheryl has worked in large and small firms on the Mornington Peninsula and has experience in most areas of law including Conveyancing, Business Sales and Purchases, Family Law, Leases, Wills and Estates, Court litigation amongst others.  She has been a valued assistant to Robert Daniels for more than 10 years.

Cheryl’s interests include AFL football, tennis, reading and spending time with family and friends. 

Laura McGovern
Personal Assistant

Laura is the Personal Assistant to the Principal of the firm Chris Hill.

Laura joined Hill Legal in 2008 and now has almost 5 years experience in the legal industry, starting her career as a receptionist and obtaining a Cert III in Business Administration. Laura's skills developed in the conveyancing divison of the practice where she successfully undertook two conveyancing courses.
 
As Chris Hill's PA Laura oversees his busy work load, assists with seminar presentations and organisation, power points, the distribution of the "Super Brief" bulletin, document preparation and liasing with clients and other advisers.

Laura enjoys reading, movies and spending time with her expanding family and close friends.
