Chris has been a practicing lawyer for over 29 years and a financial adviser for over 25 years. He is an accredited specialist by the Law Institute of Victoria, a Certified Financial Adviser and an Accredited Self Managed Super Fund Specialist Advisor by the SMSF Association, the pinnacle body in Australia for Self managed Super Fund professionals. Chris is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, the Financial Planning Association of Australia and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), a worldwide professional association for practitioners dealing with family inheritance and succession planning . He is also a former member of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM). Chris practices exclusively in the areas of Estate planning, Self Managed Super Fund structuring and advice, Asset structuring , Business succession planning and more recently Aged Care Advice. His experience as both a lawyer and Financial adviser provides unique insight and the ability to adopt a strategic approach in delivering legal solutions to his clients.
Chris holds regular speaking engagements, educational workshops and guest radio spots, presenting on a wide range of both legal and financial topics, both in Australia and the United States.
Chris is the Managing Director of “Hill Legal” and “Life Solutions, Financial advisers” which both focus on providing holistic tailored legal and financial solutions to clients at different stages of their lives. He is also the managing director of Hollenstein Hill Australia Consulting, a business that is involved in providing consulting services to Australians working in the United States.
Chris holds other non professional associations and sits on the board of various Charitable and philanthropic organisations.
He is an avid adventurer and has climbed Mountain peaks in Nepal and New Zealand and enjoys offshore racing, sailing and bike riding.
Linda joined Hill Legal as a commercial lawyer in 2009, having previously practiced at a boutique commercial law firm in Melbourne as well as at a large regional firm in the Western Districts of Victoria.
Linda mainly practices in the area of Commercial Law, with a focus on transactions such as the sale and purchase of businesses, retail leasing, and general commercial related work such as the drafting and review of contracts/agreements and providing related advice. Linda also enjoys assisting Chris Hill with his client base, in particular the asset structuring and business succession aspects of his practice.
Linda graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in 2004 and also holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Graduate Diploma in Insurance. Prior to joining the legal profession, Linda spent a number of years in the banking and finance industry, and says she enjoys combining this background with her legal knowledge to achieve commercially practical outcomes for clients.
Outside of work, Linda is kept busy by her family, especially by her two small sons.

Estate Planning Lawyer
Rohani holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and a Bachelors of Laws (Honours) from Monash University, and has practiced exclusively in the areas of Estate Planning (advising on the succession of wealth via inter vivos and testamentary trusts, superannuation, and wills), Estate Administration and Estate Litigation since 2006. Rohani is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and has been a member the International Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) since 2010. Having previously worked with City and Suburban firms, Rohani is excited to now be working locally on the Mornington Peninsula with Hill Legal.
Rohani is involved with local Carer groups and enjoys assisting people plan for a family member or loved one with a disability, by way of Special Disability Trusts, Protective trust structures, Wills and Powers of Attorney. She has enjoyed speaking to Carer Associations and parent groups at schools such as Nepean Special School and Peninsula Special Development School about strategies to provide for the long term care of children with disabilities.
With a background in Social Work, having managed a Domestic Violence shelter in California between 2001- 2004, Rohani is pleased to be able to use her legal skills for the benefit of various not-for-profit organisations, including regular volunteering for the Peninsula Community Legal Centre, and as an ‘Honored Friend Solicitor’ of the Salvation Army.

Ryan entered the legal profession with Hill Legal in 2014 and has worked in a broad range of areas, with a focus on commercial matters, including property disputes, personal and commercial insolvency, as well as the drafting of leases and contracts.
Ryan is also experienced in the field of litigation, having appeared in VCAT, the Magistrates Court and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, and he has a strong interest in advocacy, whether in court or through mediation.
Ryan graduated from RMIT with a Juris Doctor in 2013 and also holds a Diploma of Education (University of Melbourne) and Bachelor of Arts (Monash). Prior to entering the legal profession, Ryan worked as teacher, both on the Mornington Peninsula and abroad, and he enjoys the challenge of understanding and explaining complex ideas, which is common to both professions.
Out of the office, Ryan is a fan of most sports, particularly football, soccer and golf, while he also enjoys reading, music and catching up with friends.

Cheryl started work in a legal firm at Mount Eliza as a receptionist after completing workexperience at the tender age of 16 and while still at school. She has progressed to become a Law Clerk as a natural progression for her many years of experience and application.
Cheryl has worked in large and small firms on the Mornington Peninsula and has experience in most areas of law including Conveyancing, Business Sales and Purchases, Family Law, Leases, Wills and Estates, Court litigation amongst others. She has been a valued assistant to Robert Daniels for more than 10 years.
Cheryl’s interests include AFL football, tennis, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Janet Rosevear joined Hill Legal in 2013 as a Para-Legal and Personal Assistant. She brings a wealth of experience in all aspects of legal practice, having begun working in law offices at 17 years old.
Janet is a Personal Assistant to Christine Sedrak and Ryan Doll, and is handling Conveyancing, Accounting and Billing, as well as General Account & Aged Debtors Management.
Janet also handles the Compulsory Professional Development for staff by planning and arranging monthly webinars, seminars and dinners.
She is the proud mother of her two adult children, who both own and operate their own businesses. She is also looking forward to becoming a “Nanna” this year!

Rebecca has been with Hill Legal for almost 5 years.
Rebecca is Chris’ Personal Assistant. Rebecca started her career as our Receptionist and has completed her Certificate 4 in Business Administration. Rebecca does a number of tasks for Chris including typing correspondence, speaking to clients, preparing Self Managed Superannuation Fund documents and managing Chris’ diary and oversees his busy work load. She assists with seminar presentations and organisation, power points, the distribution of the “Super Brief” bulletin, document preparation and liasing with clients and other advisers.
Rebecca has many interests including walking her dogs and socializing with her friends.
